Keepin’ Jesus the Reason for the Season Baby Shower! 

We can't wait to fellowship with you and hear what God has done in your life this year! 

Here's all the pertinent info and what to expect!

When: Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 from 6-8:00pm 

Where: Heritage Hall at Dover Baptist Church

What to bring:  An unwrapped gift for baby or mama to be donated to the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond. (A list of urgently needed items is provided below.) You’re also welcome to donate even if you can’t attend the event. A donation box will be made available in the vestibule of the Sanctuary. If you’re attending the party, we’d love to hear your short testimony of how this gift reminds you of God's glory or somehow symbolizes your walk with the Lord this year, i.e. a lesson learned, a promise kept, a truth revealed, etc.

 What to expect:

Refreshments will be on hand to get the party started. We’ll fellowship, play some games and then present our gifts and stories. The giver will share how that gift symbolizes what God has done in her life this year and we'll all be blessed by hearing how God got the glory! As we go into the season of Advent we'll be reminded of things only God can do by remembering his coming as a baby and preparing our hearts for the greatest gift of all, Jesus.

Need some ideas on how to tie in your story?

PRAY that God will make it apparent what he wants you to share! 

Choose items with a design or animal such as a turtle which could represent how the Lord taught you the importance of consistency in walking with Him - to be slow and steady like the tortoise and not to be super fast and burn-out while serving Him.

Or the item itself such as baby socks could represent how God restored the joy of your salvation and showed you how to walk joyfully again with Him this year
